1. Jonathan Stewart RB Carolina Panthers- Stewart is the power back the Panthers have been waiting for. He will be the Panthers feature back on day one. Stewart has the speed (4.45) to get around the corner and the size 5"11 230 to power over defenders. Stewart also has above average receiving skills. Look for Stewart to top 1,300 yds rushing with 7-10 td's.
2. Darren McFadden RB Oakland Raiders- McFadden is a homerun threat everytime he touches the ball and his speed (4.33) validates that. McFadden isn't a huge back, but he runs hard and has been extremely durable. McFadden should be good for 1,200 yds and 8-9 td's
3. Kevin Smith RB Detroit Lions- If the Lions had even a decent offensive line I would rank Smith higher as he is going to get the ball alot in every situation. Smith has good size and enough speed to be a solid fantasy player for years to come. Smith will top 1,000 yard with 7-8 td's
4. Rashard Mendenhall RB Pittsburgh Steelers- Mendenhall will battle Willie Parker for the starting running back job. Whatever happens Mendehall will be a fantasy value because he will be the goal line back. look for Mendenhall to be the feature back by midseason.
5. Devin Thomas WR Washington Redskins-With the Redskins switching offenses Thomas will likely be a starter from day one. Thomas has a nice size/speed combination that seperates him from the other Redskins wideouts.
6. James Hardy WR Buffalo Bills- The Bills have been looking for a wr to pair with Lee Evans and they have found him in James Hardy. At 6'5 225 Hardy will be a monster target, especially in the redzone.
7. Limas Sweed WR Pittsburgh Steelers- Big Ben wanted a receeiver with size and the Steelers found one in Sweed. Sweed will be the Steelers number 3 wide out and will get plenty of chances in the redzone, so 6-7 td's is not out of the question.
